ALL SPORTS MUSEUM OF SOUTHERN NJ: Bridgeton. This South Jersey Sports Museum is located in the county seat of Cumberland, the city of Bridgeton. The museum is dedicated to individuals and teams from the southern portion of our state. Artifacts from many famous professional athletes, such as Willie Mays' 1960 Gold Glove Award, a Jackie Robinson game used bat, the Cincinati Reds' baseball bat collection, Bridgeton's own USFL & NFL star, George Jamison, Philadelphia Athletics star and Roadstown's own Rube Oldring, Baseball Hall of Famer and Salem, NJ native Leon "Goose" Goslin, and hundreds of other medals, trophies are on display. BAYSHORE CENTER AT BIVALVE: Port Norris. The Bayshore Center at Bivalve is the home of the authentically restored 1928 oyster schooner, AJ Meerwald and the Delaware Bay Museum and Folklife Center. In keeping with its mission, BCB offers shipboard and shore-based educational programs and activities. There are public sails throughout the region on the schooner along with maritime camps, charters and special theme sails between April and October. The Museum and Folklife Center, open year-round Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 4:00pm, is located in the historic Shipping Sheds and Wharves on the scenic Maurice River. It houses two exhibits, "The Abundant Oyster?" and “Bringing Bivalve to Life" There is also a Bivalve Discovery Tour which includes a Wetland Walk with activities and seining on the salt hay meadow restored to tidal flow across from BCB. Special annual events include Bay Day Festival on the first Saturday in June and the Run for the Schooner: Walkathon & 5K held in April. BCB also presents Second Friday, an open house held monthly with live music, art exhibit, lectures, food and fun. CEDAR CREEK SPORTING CLAYS: Millville. Cedar Creek Sporting Clays is open to the public and to their members. Both of their 100 bird courses are now completely wireless and wind their way through 75 acres of pinelands and open fields with two different target presentations at each of their 16 stations on the Main Course and 15 stations on the new Woods Course. On the Main Course, Blue cages are set for the intermediate shooter, while Red cages are set for shooters looking for "tournament type" targets who want some serious practice. Their Woods Course is set for the novice & intermediate shooter. Targets are changed every other week. Golf carts are available for rental. EASTLYN GOLF COURSE: Vineland. A Par 62 Golf Course conveniently located in Vineland. Their 18-hole golf course is beautifully landscaped with plants, shrubs, and trees. The course is a haven for wildlife that was transformed from swampland by designer Francis Galbiati. The par 62 course spans 3,500 yards from the longest tees, composed of beautifully manicured greens, tight fairways, and 12 holes with natural water hazards. Beginners and pros alike will find a challenge at Eastlyn Golf Course and all golfers are sure to appreciate their 19th watering hole! EAST POINT LIGHTHOUSE: Heislerville. The East Point Light, was known as the Maurice River Light before 1913, is a lighthouse located on the Delaware Bay at the mouth of the Maurice River in Maurice River Township. East Point Lighthouse has guided commercial fishermen and pleasure boaters since 1849. The two-story red brick structure is painted white and is topped by a bright red roof and lantern. Group tours may be arranged. The lighthouse is open to the public on the 3rd Sunday of the month from April to October from 1pm to 4pm. The lighthouse is also open the 1st Saturday in June from 12 noon to 6pm for Bay Day. Visit Website

GLASSTOWN BREWERY COMPANY: Millville. Glasstown Brewing Company is a small craft microbrewery located at the Millville Airport. The town for which the brewery bases its name, was once the glass making center for the country. After years of home brewing, owner Paul Simmons has turned a once hobby into a successful brewery. MILLVILLE ARMY AIR FIELD MUSEUM: Millville. The Millville Army Air Field Museum preserves the history of the Millville Army Air Field, in Millville, New Jersey, which was dedicated by the U.S. War Department in 1941 as America’s First Defense Airport. During its four year existence, more than 10,000 men and women served here, with 1,500 pilots receiving advanced fighter training in P-47 Thunderbolt and P-40 Warhawk fighter planes. Incorporated in 1988, the Museum is located in the original Millville Army Air Field base headquarters building. The surrounding historic complex includes the original Link Trainer Building with a rare, operational Link Trainer flight simulator which is enjoyed by both young people and adults, the Henry E. Wyble Historic Research Library and Education Center, and a connecting courtyard with several aircraft displayed. Visitors will enjoy numerous displays of WWII aviation artifacts of local and national interest. Exhibits serve to recognize and commemorate all aspects of aviation history as well as document and honor the lives of American veterans. Expanded displays include items of interest from the Korean and Vietnam Wars, collections from the Philadelphia Seaplane Base Museum, New Jersey Aerospace Resource Center and the P-47 Thunderbolt Pilots’ Association and Advocates. The Millville Army Air Field Museum hosts numerous historic aviation displays and commemorative events including the Millville Wheels and Wings Air Show, and Veterans Appreciation Day, among others. These events bring vintage warbirds, military aircraft, and veterans to Millville to be recognized for their important history and service. Thousands of visitors come to the Millville Army Air Field Museum and its events each year. Visitors regularly encounter World War II veterans discussing their experiences and explaining Museum displays. The Museum promotes the excitement of aviation through its history, instills patriotism as it honors the lives of all veterans and American military, and educates and inspires youth. The Millville Army Air Field Museum is a great source of pride and a genuine asset to the City of Millville, as it impacts a greater regional, statewide and national audience. Millville Airport’s historic district was named to the New Jersey Historic Register in October 2009. NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK: Millville. Sitting on more than 500 acres in Millville, N.J., New Jersey Motorsports Park is the premier motorsports entertainment complex in the Northeast. NJ FIELD OF DREAMS MOTOCROSS PARK: Millville. NJ Field of Dreams is a national-style motocross track (AMA) over 1.2 miles in length. The track was professionally built by John Steiner, owner/operator of MX Track Builders. There is a National Style MX Track, MX/ATV Track, Pee Wee Track, and trails. A three story tower provides track staff ample viewing opportunities from the 3rd floor. A state-of-the-art warning light system. SOUTHWIND VINEYARD & WINERY: Millville. Southwind Vineyard has wines for sale to suit all tastes ranging from $12-$18. The tasting room is an intimate richly decorated space. Arrange a private tasting by appointment for groups of 6-12 people. The farm has operated consistently since 1978. First as a Dressage barn built from the ground by Fred and Jeannie Allen, now expanded to include immaculate trails, a vineyard and winery. SUNSET LAKE AMPHITHEATRE: Bridgeton. The Sunset Lake Amphitheater is a tiered space in a bucolic natural setting along Sunset Lake, which can be rented for events and programs.
